CCS pressure switches are used in a whole range of industrial applications for hydraulic, pneumatic, filter, heating and cooling systems. They are suitable for a wide variety of media, e.g. high-octane rating petrol, hydro-carbons, hot water, greases, and brake-fluid.

Compatibility page. Currently CCS has started to offer a Teflon® Encapsulated O-ring, see Option "N" at Ordering Code page. The Teflon® encapsulated O-Rings are ideal choice where surface wear might otherwise be a
problem. By itself, the material Teflon® exhibits a useful service life from below -100F, to temperatures of over
500F. Its resistance to solvents is also excellent throughout a wide range of
temperatures. Its low dielectric constant and electrical resistance also
remain constant throughout this range.
While Teflon® is not a true Elastometer, this plastic is often used in an
encapsulated O-Ring due to its superior chemical resistance. The partial list

representative Mrs. Halina Alexander, NACE is a voluntarily adapted standard and
therefore NACE does not issue any certification.
CCS temperature switches are used in a whole range of industrial applications. DUAL-SNAP temperature switches may be used virtually anywhere. These switches may be used in systems with proof pressure up to 1500 PSIG, with system temperatures varying from -30°F to +630°F, and at any altitude above sea level. Typical applications include use on water and steam lines, heat exchangers, lube oil and gear box bearing. Capillary tube permit use in hazardous or hard-to-service situations.
Ambient Condition: CCS Industrial pressure and temperature switches
will perform within specifications during and after exposure to a temperature
of -65°F. The cold temperature of -65°F will not damage nor affect the
function of the switch. The insulation material of the *standard electrical
wires may crack if bent sharply during exposure to -65°F temperatures. When
electrical wires have to be handled, CCS recommends that the ambient
temperature be no lower than -35°F.
Publication: CCS has developed more then 6500 special pressure switches to support
many Customer applications. The current Composite Catalog is only
representing the standard pressure switch models. Contact your area sales
representative for help with selection of the special models.
