Reliable RTD Design
CCS introduces its new, highly reliable and economical RTD temperature sensors for monitoring the temperature of aircraft fluids, including fuel, engine oil and hydraulic fluid.
The CCS 150RTD Series design is based on a wire wound Platinum Resistance Temperature Detector (PRTD).The PRTD is designed and constructed to International IEC751 Standards and is commonly used on aircraft applications.
The advantages of a PRTD over a thermocouple or thermistor sensor are:
- High Accuracy: ± 0.5ºC
- Good Interchangeability
- Excellent Long-term Stability
- Corrosion Resistance
Flexible Configurations:
CCS offers standard, all-stainless, hermetic designs for cost and schedule considerations or can customize a design to your specifications. Options include flange or threaded fittings and dual RTD elements for sensing redundancy.
