Returned Switch Authorization PolicyEffective August 2, 2005, Custom Control Sensors will be initiating a Return Switch Authorization Policy for all CCS-manufactured products returned to the factory. This policy will require that all products returned to CCS be identified with an RMA number assigned by CCS. The purpose for assigning an RMA number is to assure our customers that the returned product is being processed in a timely fashion assuring a quality response and analysis. The RMA process will require the customer to submit a request to CCS’ Industrial or Airborne Service Departments. The CCS Sales Department will review the request and, if the return is approved, an RMA number will be assigned. The returned switch should be properly packaged, preferably using the original CCS shipping box or a similar container. The RMA number must be clearly marked on the outside of the shipping container. Shipment must be prepaid. Collect shipments will not be accepted without prior CCS authorization.
