Pressure Transducers and Sensors
CCS GEN3 Pressure Transducers and Sensors use innovative technologies to provide accurate and reliable pressure monitoring of various pneumatic and fluid media in systems on the aircraft. The output of these sensors are used to control various systems or inform the aircrew.
The Absolute Pressure Transducer utilizes CCS’ advanced strain Gage sensing and calibration technologies to measure pressure in aircraft systems referencing a fixed pressure adjusted to 0 PSI (0 BAR). Applications include:
• Hydraulic systems
• Fuel systems
• Lubrication systems
• Engines
• Landing gear
• Environmental control systems
• Nitrogen generation systems
• Bleed air
• Fluid management
The Gage Pressure Transducer utilizes CCS’ advanced strain Gage sensing and calibration technologies to measure pressure in aircraft systems referencing atmosphere. Applications include:
• Hydraulic systems
• Fuel systems
• Lubrication systems
• Engines
• Landing gear
• Environmental control systems
• Nitrogen generation systems
• Bleed air
• Fluid management
The Differential Pressure Transducer utilizes CCS’ advanced strain gauge sensing and calibration technologies to measure pressure in aircraft systems referencing the high pressure side (P1), such as an inlet to a filter, and low pressure side (P2), such as the outlet to a filter, of the sensed media. In the example of the filter, the measurement is used to monitor and predict when the filter will need to be replaced or cleaned. Applications include:
• Hydraulic systems
• Fuel systems
• Lubrication systems
• Engines
• Landing gear
• Fluid management
